About Me!
I'm Kira Fontaine, a first-year teacher at Union School, and I teach both ELA and social studies for grades 6-8. I love reading, writing and learning new things each day with my students. I also enjoy connecting with nature whether it is going on a hike, reading outdoors or hammocking. Sharing this interest with my students, combined with the excellent opportunities to learn outdoors provided at Union School, I have been able to combine two things I love: nature and teaching!
